Company History:

The vineyards and wineries Señorio de Bocos belong to the company "Señorio de Bocos, S.A." (Formerly vega nogales, sa), a group company Iniciativas Rurales del Duero, S.A.

The Hon. City Council "Bocos de Duero (Valladolid) and the privately owned Iniciativas Rurales del Duero, S.A., along with other private partners have opted for the drive of various economic activities that facilitate the development of the municipality and provide new opportunities for wealth and employment for all its neighbours.

Given the largely agricultural "Bocos de Duero", its location in the region of Peñafiel (County of Valladolid) and its integration into the appellation of origin "Ribera del Duero," the first start-up activity has been the creation of "Señorio Bocos, S.A." whose initial mission was to strategically plant new vines, taking advantage of the excellent quality of land and irrigation pipes at the disposal of the municipality, to then produce wines of the highest quality, carefully cultivated and produced in our new wineries and cellars own, which offer consumers more demanding under the brand name "Señorio de Bocos".

 

Now, passionated for this ancient craft tradition, we have created wineries and celars equipped with the most modern and hygienic facilities, imitating our predecessors grapegrowers of Bocos, get the most exquisite flavor of these unique grapes to satisfy the senses of the most sophisticated palates.

Therefore, we have at your disposal a full range of excellent red wines, all with quality label and ensuring of the Denomination of Origin "Ribera del Duero." And also, the white wines verdejos D.O. Rueda and rosé wines of the D.O. Cigales.

The extreme weather conditions of the Castilian plateau north along with the proximity of the river Duero provide the finest grapes for winemaking.
